Born and raised in CA, with roots going back to Scotland – Jim Buchanan heads the company as CEO. He has been working for the family business since graduating from Covina high school in ’75. His primary love before the company is his family, whom he admits to wishing to spend more time with. When Jim is free, you would find him riding the ocean waves with his wife Lorie on their 43’ Mikelson Sportfisher yacht. He has had a passion for the sea since his first plywood 14’ Chris Craft boat back in ‘73 and has passed this obsession on to his daughter and grandson.

Lorie is our VP dealing with contracts, contractual issues, and prevailing wage. At least, that is what she will tell anyone who asks. Ask anyone else and they will describe her as the goofy, eccentric, every-so-slightly crazy (never truly letting go of the barefoot 70’s wild child she really is) glue that has held the company together for nearly 30 years.

Born and raised in SoCal, Lorie loves spending time with family and friends, be it on the ocean waves, at a baseball game (She is a dedicated Dodgers fan and collector of bobbleheads which she proudly has on display), or singing along to a song from her playlist of classic and country rock (she can actually sing!). The only time you will see the wrong side of Lorie is if you offer her anything containing lima beans - which she abhors with a passion.

Jason heads up our marketing efforts. Born and raised in London, England - Jason moved to the US 25 years and has been enjoying the American dream ever since. When not sitting behind a computer screen, Jason loves spending time with his wife, 11-year-old son, 2 Siamese cats, one enormous dog, and 4 bearded dragons, a 5ft Milk Snake, and 4 Sugar Gliders. 

Jason has a broad experience across many industries, marketing products, and services for small to medium-sized companies with success. He combines his experience in business, love of technology, and passion for psychology to become a caffeine-fueled digital marketeer.
